prison factory cult circus
ONE HOUSE. ONE FAMILY.
FOUR VERY DIFFERENT PATHS.
This electrifying one-woman show weaves rarely seen circus acts — including knife throwing, lasso, and musical saw — into the raw, true story of Lucy and her siblings growing up in Sheffield. Exploring themes of nature, nurture, and the shadow of Thatcher’s Britain, it’s a powerful journey of resilience and rebellion.
Running 50 minutes, this indoor theatre production was created in 2018 and had its premiere at Jacksons Lane in London in July of that year. It then enjoyed a successful season at the Melbourne Fringe Festival, where it earned a nomination for Best Circus.
The 2019 UK tour was met with enthusiastic acclaim from audiences and venues alike, cementing its place as a compelling and unforgettable performance.
After a COVID hiatus, this show is set to return in 2027 — register your interest now to be among the first to know when bookings open.
